The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) and Metal Coffee Shop selected a large residential metal roofing project as the winner of its Best Residential Metal Roofing Project competition for the third quarter of 2023.
Bliss Roofing Inc., based in Clackamas, Ore., installed the metal roof on the modern lodge style house in April. Bliss used 275 squares of Cool Kynar 500 Dark Bronze standing seam roof systems manufactured by Taylor Metal Inc., based in Salem, Ore.
“This winning project really demonstrates how architects, builders, installers, and manufacturers can successfully work together to ensure quality, not only when it comes to long-term performance and reliability, but also incredible style. With its stunning metal roof, this home is the very definition of beautiful design, both inside and out,” says Renee Ramey, MRA executive director.
