A metal building system was used to build Waste Management Inc.’s transfer station at its waste management facility. The building houses a high volume and transfer station of thousands of tons of material daily. A pre-engineered metal building provided the required durability and functionality.
The transfer station is connected to an existing facility and is designed to match and complement the existing facility. It houses 60,000 square feet and is 175 feet wide by 310 feet long by 33 feet tall.
Lefever Building Systems erected the transfer station with Varco Pruden Buildings’ metal building system and installed Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp.’s metal wall panels and trim.
