A new softball stadium, Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium at the University of Florida, was built on the site of the university’s former softball stadium. The project includes an elevated press box, shade structures for patrons, student-athlete amenities, more seating capacity than the previous stadium and multiple seating options.
Metal roofing in Terra Cotta, a color that coordinates with the university’s branding colors, covers eight buildings. Thorne Metal Systems Inc. roll-formed on-site and installed 10,300 square feet of Petersen Aluminum Corp.’s 24-gauge steel and 0.032-inch-thick aluminum Tite-Loc Plus roof panels in 70% PVDF Terra Cotta.
