Architectural Products Specialist Inc., Loganville, Ga., distributed a variety of products from Protean Construction Products Inc., Burnsville, Minn. and Morin Corp., Bristol, Conn., for the Montgomery Detention Center in Montgomery, Ala. The project features 36,200 square feet
(3,363 m2) of Protean’s 3-inch (76-mm) smooth Polyisocyanurate FM-200 foam panel with 22-gauge steel skins in a Khaki Shade Low Gloss Kynar finish; 29,100 square feet (2,703 m2) of Protean’s 3-inch textured Polyisocyanurate FM-200 foam panel system with 22-gauge steel skins in a Khaki Shade High Gloss Kynar finish; and 2,700 square feet (251 m2) of Protean’s 2-inch (51-mm) profile Polyisocyanurate FM-200 foam panel system with 22-gauge steel skins in a Dark Bronze Kynar finish.
Additionally, the project featured 2,800 square feet (260 m2) of Morin’s 20-gauge MR-36 metal wall panels in a Spartan Bronze Kynar finish; 1,500 square feet (139 m2) of Morin’s 20-gauge C-29 7/8-inch (22-mm) metal wall panels in a Regal White Kynar finish; 2,200 linear feet
(671 m) of Morin’s 20-gauge C-40 1/2-inch (13-mm) metal wall panels in a Regal White Kynar finish; 2,500 square feet (232 m2) of Morin’s 24-gauge, 12 1/2-inch- (318-mm-) wide, SCR-Curved metal roof panels in a Classic II Copper Penny Mica Kynar finish; and 2,200 square feet (204 m2) of Morin’s 24-gauge F-12 2-inch metal soffit panel in a Classic II Copper Penny Mica Kynar finish.
