The Mehlville Fire Station in St. Charles, Mo., features a metal canopy from Mapes Architectural Canopies, Lincoln, Neb. The project features approximately 40 square feet (4 m2) of Mapes’ Super Lumideck Arched Hanger Rod unit with 2 3/4-inch (70-mm) extruded decking and 8-inch- (203-mm-) tall extruded G fascia. The canopy also utilized 1-inch (25-mm) hanger rods and a Bronze Baked Enamel finish. Supplied by Manchester Hackett, St. Louis, the canopy was installed by Industrial Sheet Metal, St. Charles.
