The Cecil County Administration Building in Elkton, Md., is a combination of a pre-engineered metal building and conventional construction. The building features a large two-story lobby and a pre-engineered Star Building that sits atop the conventional first floor of the building.
The 88,500-square-foot (8,222-m2) second floor utilized Oklahoma City-based Star Building Systems’ StarASR Roof System in Evergreen.
The builder and steel erector on the project was Nowland Associates, Newark, Del., and the architect was ABHA Architects, Wilmington, Del.
