The Richard Bell Chapel opened in 1967 at Sugarloaf USA, a winter and summer vacation and conference center providing recreation, entertainment and conference services for children and adults in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. The chapel recently underwent renovations that included a new Englert Series double lock standing-seam roof from Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, N.J.
Dormers were added to the roof over the building’s doorways to eliminate problems with snow falling. C.O. Beck & Sons Roofi ng of Waterville, Maine, installed the 20-inch (508-mm), 24-gauge Englert panels in medium bronze.
