As the scrap steel price increased, Hyundai Steel will adjust up H-shaped steel and section prices by 30,000 Won per ton ($25.50 per ton) starting from January 1. According to Hyundai Steel, the prices of 300x300mm H-shaped steel and 100x100x13mm angle steel will be hiked to 820,000 Won per ton ($697 per ton) and 750,000 Won per ton ($637.5 per ton), respectively. The listing price of H-shaped steel and sections from Hyundai Steel will remain at 860,000 Won per ton ($731 per ton) and 850,000 Won per ton.
