This is the first major revision of the automatic door selection guide in many years, and it accounts for evolving demands related to sustainability, universal access, and safety and security, says AAADM. The guide is broken down into five steps, helping match the right kind of automatic door technology with the objectives of a specific entrance.
According to AAADM, the updated guide helps users choose an entrance system based on the building’s needs, how people use it, and long-term performance. It also highlights the importance of proper installation, inspection, and ongoing care.
