Eastvale STEM Academy, Eastvale, Calif

In part to coordinate with the school colors navy and orange, LPA Inc. used a combination of metallic and bright orange colored metal panels in its design for the exterior of Eastvale STEM (eSTEM) Academy at Eleanor Roosevelt High School.
Letner Roofing Co. installed 35,000 square feet of Laminators Inc.’s Omega-Lite aluminum composite material (ACM) panels in PVDF/Kynar 500 Bright Silver Metallic, Coppertone Metallic and Brilliant Orange. Letner installed the panels with Laminators’ Dry Seal installation system to create a pressure-equalized wall system.
The new eSTEM Academy is comprised of two buildings with 107,000 square feet. Approximately 1,000 students attend the school, where they study career paths including medical science, and engineering and design.
The building houses 18 classrooms, 13 labs, a 600-seat amphitheater, student resource center, research lounge and covered outdoor lunch area. There are spaces for studying 3-D printing, health science, manufacturing, medical technology and robotics.
