A metal feature wall supplied by Móz Designs was installed around a utility block with elevators and stairways in Global Trade Square, an office building in Hong Kong. The utility block is on the 17th floor, designated as a refuge floor per a Hong Kong Buildings Department requirement, for occupants to assemble in case of fire. Landscape architect AXXA Group Ltd. specified Móz Designs’ Tides Breaking Waves, a wavy multi-dimensional metal wall system with dynamic digital imagery. The wall was fabricated from 0.063-inch aluminum with a Pewtercolored background and kinetic Sapphire Blue pattern. Móz Designs added a textured grain, Thunder and Clouds, to the panels with a poly-coat gloss finish for easy maintenance. General contractor Cheung Kee Fung Cheung Construction Co Ltd. installed the panels on concrete walls with Móz Designs’ mounting clips.
