Market Feature – Metal building system makes office, shop buildings

Freeman Architects PC designed Red Willow Construction’s office and shop buildings in Severance, Colo., with a metal building system and metal roof panels. Clark Enterprises Construction Co. constructed a 60-foot by 50-foot, stud-framed office building with Behlen Building Systems’ 26-gauge ADP-1 screw-down metal roof panels to match the attached shop building. The shop building is Behlen Building Systems’ 60-foot by 125-foot steel frame building. Clark Enterprises Construction installed All Weather Insulated Panels’ 2 1/2-inch, textured, insulated metal panels with 24-gauge skin on the exterior of the shop building to comply with Severance’s requirement for a stucco finish. The shop building features Green-Tek Inc.’s 8-mm Verolite twin-wall polycarbonate eave light panels. The $1.2 million, 10,500-square-foot project was completed in September 2015.
