The Kiwanis International Headquarters in Indianapolis was expanded with the addition of the Kiwanis International Auditorium and Leadership Education Center, a state-of-the-art conference venue. The first international auditorium in the nation, the 200-seat facility boasts simultaneous translation services for multilingual communications and advanced audiovisual capabilities. The new facility supports the Kiwanis mission to serve the community and foster opportunities for the world.
The project utilized 2,019 square feet (188 m2) of 22/26-gauge Formawall Dimension Series 2-inch (51-mm) metal wall panels in Silversmith with a smooth finish and Sundance Mica coating by CENTRIA, Moon Township, Pa. Additionally, 3,015 square feet (280 m2) of 22/26-gauge Formawall Dimension Series 2-inch metal wall panels in Polo Blue with a smooth finish and Fluorofinish coating, also by CENTRIA, were used. Rowland Design Inc., Indianapolis, was the architect; Crown Corr Inc., Indianapolis, was the dealer and installer; and Hokanson Construction, Indianapolis, was the general contractor for the project.
