Global Branding and Marketing Strategist Andrea Smith Joins Miller Clapperton as Marketing Director

The Miller-Clapperton Partnership Inc. one of the nation’s leading engineered façade cladding firms, announced today that Andrea D. Smith has joined the company as their Marketing Director. Smith will work closely with senior leadership to refresh and strengthen the Miller Clapperton brand and help guide them through their new expansion to the west coast in 2016.

Smith comes with global B2B marketing and brand experience as well as M&A experience. Prior to joining Miller Clapperton, she served as the Senior Brand Specialist for Howden Group at their global headquarters in the United Kingdom where she was a member of their global marketing team. She worked to build their brand both internally and externally with a strong push for innovation in 2015. Smith also supported the development, management and implementation of the brand strategy, standards and planning, managed a global team of 70 Brand Ambassadors located in 17 different countries and served as the marketing workstream lead for a major GE brand acquisition in Q3. She’s also served as Campaign Manager for United Way and has a considerable amount of both client-side and ad-agency side experience.

Smith has received numerous awards, including Greenville Business Magazine’s Best & Brightest Under 35 in Greenville, SC, 40 Under 40 in Columbia, SC and a national award with the American Advertising Federation.

Smith is a graduate of Clemson University’s College of Business and Behavioral Sciences where she earned her M.B.A. in Marketing.
