The Aluminum Extrusion Council (AEC) recognized three volunteers for their dedication and commitment to the Council and the industry at the 2012 AEC Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona last March. Two Volunteer of the Year awards and one Distinguished Service award were presented.
Alan Sholts, vice president of manufacturing for Alexandria Industries in Alexandria, Minn.; and Jim Foy, president of Foy Inc. in Farmersville, Texas, were presented with the two Volunteer of the Year awards. Craig Werner of Werner Extrusion Solutions LLC, Lake Forest, Ill. was presented with the Distinguished Service award.
