AIA New Orleans has identified three opportunities for convention-goers and the interested public alike, to volunteer prior to and after the AIA 2011 National Convention scheduled for May 12 – May 14. The organizations include HandOn New Orleans, the Preservation Resource Center’s Rebuilding Together New Orleans program, and New Orleans Operation Helping Hands. More than 200 individuals have already volunteered to assist with everything from gutting houses, to paint and finish work.
