CENTRIA offers power industry brochure

“Partners in Power” outlines architectural metal wall and roof system solutions
“Each building project in the power industry has its own unique set of circumstances,” said Denny Koska, Senior Product Engineer, CENTRIA. “We have a proven track record of exploring those special circumstances and providing design considerations that help to ensure quality and performance. That’s one of the reasons why CENTRIA’s global portfolio boasts more than 2,500 successful installations in the power industry.” The brochure features five CENTRIA systems that are particularly advantageous for the power industry and its many unique requirements:
Pressure Release Walls: The potential for dangerous explosions in power generating facilities requires design solutions that provide protection. Should an explosion occur, pressure release walls help to diminish the amount of overall damage to the facility.
Acoustic-Rated Walls: Quietwall effectively confines the noise source within an enclosure, excludes the noise, or absorbs to reduce the overall noise level.
UL Fire-Rated Walls: Provides layers of fire resistant gypsum board between the exterior profile panel and the insulation and liner panel. By increasing the number of layers of gypsum, UL one-hour to four-hour firewalls can be achieved. Controlled Release Wall System: Helps protect industrial structures and power generating facilities from structural failure due to severe storms, hurricanes or tornadoes.
Architectural EMI/RF Shielding: Limits the amount of electromagnetic interference across the exterior wall and roof surface of a building by incorporating a properly grounded conductive material barrier into the structure. In addition, CENTRIA’s comprehensive protective coatings systems meet the specific needs of each power facility providing superior performance and resistance against corrosion, humidity and abrasion. CENTRIA panels have been tested and have survived some of the most severe natural events on record, which is why they are used in the construction of power facilities around the world. “With the increased demand for energy worldwide, CENTRIA is committed to providing products that are not only aesthetically pleasing and high performance, but also are environmentally responsible,” Koska said. “The majority of our products have received Cradle to Cradle® Certification, which we see as another demonstration of our commitment, not just to the power industry, but to our responsibility as a good corporate citizen in general.” For more information on CENTRIA’s “Partners in Power” Brochure, call 800.759.7474, e-mail info@CENTRIA.com or visit www.CENTRIA.com.
