A concrete tile roof on a private residence needed to be replaced due to hail damage. The homeowner wanted a durable and attractive replacement.
Maximum Construction and Restoration LLC removed the damaged concrete roof and installed 4,600 square feet of McElroy Metal’s G90 galvanized steel Milan Slate in Green Slate. The concrete material was hauled away and used by another property owner to fill in a pond. The project took five days to install.
Keelan Bubb, of Maximum Construction and Restoration, says, “[The metal slate] looks perfect with [the owner’s] home, which is stucco. Most of the homes here are brick, so [the] home and roof are unique. It has a bit of an iridescent look to it. It’s Green Slate, but there’s some gray in there. When the sun hits it one way, it looks green. When it’s cloudy, it’s gray.”
