Approximately 5,000 square feet of Allentown, Pa.-based ATAS International Inc.’s 0.032-aluminum CastleTop panels in Coppertone was chosen for its organic aesthetics to clad the sides of the Nisqually Tribe Administration Building, Olympia, Wash. The panels reflect nature and complement the other prominent features in the facility’s design, completed in May 2013. The project includes a roofline reminiscent of the native salmon, a two-story, cable-supported curtainwall and an indoor pond.

WHH Nisqually Federal Services LLC, Olympia, provided construction management services for the $8 million, 26,000-square-foot facility. Womer & Associates, Spokane, Wash., was the architecture firm; Korsmo Construction, Tacoma, Wash., was the general contractor; and ABC Supply, Lakewood, Wash., was the distributor.
