Neighborhood welcomes LEED

Scope: In the prominent Avenue of the Arts neighborhood in Philadelphia, 777 South Broad is the first LEED-registered mixed-use building. The five story, $70 million project offers 146 luxury loft-style apartments with 18,000 square feet (1,672 m2) of retail and commercial space at street level.

Details: The project utilized 28,000 square feet (2,601 m2) of Indianapolis-based Citadel Architectural Products ProCore field-assembled exterior cladding finished in Silver Metallic.

The developer was Dranoff Properties, Philadelphia; the architect was JKR Partners, Philadelphia; the installer was Towne and Country Roofing & Siding Inc., Bensalem, Pa.; and the Citadel distributor was BradCo Supply, Melverne, Pa.
