Located in the Erie Airpark in Erie, Colo., this private residence was conceived, deigned and built to meet the needs of the aviators who call it home. Completed in late 2008, the home design was a collaborative effort of the family, the architect and the installing contractor, Loveland, Colo.-based EagleSpan Steel Structures LLC. Louisville, Ky.- based Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. supplied the metal roof and wall panels, in addition to the secondary metal framing, to protect the entire hangar structure and provide compelling design elements for the home.
