Adaptable and cost-effective metal building

A metal building was used when R.F. Lane Co., Mulberry, Fla., needed a building to be adaptable to both office and warehouse functions. With cost being a factor, Liberty Building Systems, Memphis, Tenn., supplied a custom 6,000-square-foot (557-m2) metal building with clear span framing with tapered columns for structural support. Liberty also supplied its 26-gauge LibertyRib panels in Galvalume for the roof and 26-guage LibertyRib wall panels in a Light Stone FreedomCote finish. The trim color was Burnished Slate. The building is divided into 1,000 square feet (93 m2) of office space and 5,000 square feet (465 m2) of warehouse space. Stone accents were added to the building corners and on the masonry columns for an aesthetically pleasing finish. S.E. Paul Construction, Lakeland, Fla., was the design-builder and general contractor for the project.
