Columbus, Neb.-based Bierman Contracting Inc.’s office and shop features a metal building, roof and walls from Behlen Manufacturing, Columbus. The 14,000-square-foot (1,301-m2) project has an offset skewed front entrance with eight offices, a conference room, meeting room, open work area and a 3-foot (1-m) overhang with can lights. In addition to Behlen’s ADP-1 metal wall panels in Polar White, the building incorporates EIFS, brick and wood into the design. The roof utilized Behlen’s ZL-24 standing-seam roof panels. Bierman Contracting acted as the architect, and Toby Gay of Columbus, was the builder-contractor and steel erector for the project.
