MBCI celebrates 35 years of business

In July, MBCI will be celebrating its 35th anniversary and 35 years of continued success. Wayne Dickinson, president and CEO of MBCI, attributes this success to its loyal customers and hardworking employees.

“MBCI would not be what it is today if we did not have the support of our customers and the dedication of our employees,” states Dickinson.

Founded on July 12, 1976, MBCI opened its first sales office and manufacturing facility in Houston. Dickinson says, “MBCI has stressed the importance of customer service since the day we opened our doors.”

MBCI began manufacturing basic metal building components, such as roofing, siding and lightgauge secondary structural. It quickly grew into a market leader thanks to tactics such as “service after the sale” that initiated three-day deliveries for custom-manufactured products, a service that, prior to 1976, was unheard of for custom-manufactured products.

MBCI now operates 16 manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout the United States, delivering a wide range of metal products directly to its customers. Additionally, the company continues its dedication to provide new product offerings through its dedication to innovation.

Dickinson says, “Words cannot express the deep appreciation and gratitude we have for our customers. It is because of you that MBCI has become the company we are today … We look forward to serving you for many years to come.”
